Cosy 47 sqms apartment, with two balconies, that can accommodate up to 4 people, located on the fifth floor of a modern building (with lift). The property is located in the heart of the archaeological area of Syracuse, with all the necessary services, a few steps from the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, from Paolo Orsi Archaeological Museum and in front of the Catacombs of San Giovanni.
The wonderful island of Ortigia is less than 2.5 km away!

The inside is organised as follows:
- LIVING AREA: kitchenette (with induction hob, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, moka, kettle and kitchenware), TV, split A/C, two armchairs, dining table, and chairs;
- BEDROOM I: double bed, split A/C and wardrobe;
- BEDROOM II: two single beds, split A/C and wardrobe;
- BATHROOM: shower box, sink, bidet and toilet.
The apartment has also TWO BALCONIES.
OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning, heating with heat pump, washing machine, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, drying rack and hall stand.
Towels and bed linen included (with optional changes for a fee).
OTHER INFORMATION: there is a lift (with steps to access it).
All guests' IDs must be shown upon check-in, as required by Italian law.
From 15:00 to 19:00, check-in will take place in presence.
After 19:00, self check-in will take place (free of charge). Further instructions will be provided a few days before your arrival.
Alternatively, after 19:00 check-in in presence will also be available upon request and with a supplement to be paid in cash on arrival, as follows:
EUR 25 from 19:00 to 23:00;
EUR 30 from 23:00 and 00:00;
EUR 40 from 00:00 to 01:30.
All requests for late arrivals are subject to confirmation by the property. The last possible check-in, even by paying the supplement, is 01:30.

We are happy to organize early check-in when there are no other guests leaving the apartment on that same day; however, it will not be possible to arrange late check-out. If you need assistance for luggage storage, we can recommend you an affiliated structure.
A member of our Team Siracusa will contact you a few days before your arrival to organize your check-in. They will meet you at the apartment to hand you the keys and they will be at your disposal for any information and further assistance before and during your stay. The apartment is located in the heart of the archaeological area of Syracuse. Not far from the property is the wonderful Archaeological Park of Neapolis which preserves treasures such as the Greek Theater, still intact, the Amphitheater, the Ear of Dionysus, the Temple of Gerone and the presumed Tomb of Archimedes, among the most important archaeological testimonies in Europe, and protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. A few steps from the apartment you can also admire one of the oldest places in Syracuse: the Catacombs of San Giovanni, an ancient Greek aqueduct that the Romans later turned into catacombs.
The Umberto I Hospital is 700m away from the apartment.
The wonderful island of Ortigia, with its seafront, is not far from the property. Walking through its streets, it is possible to admire centuries of history, stunning buildings, characteristic restaurants and cafes, as well as monuments such as the Manice Castle, the Fonte Aretusa, the ancient temple of Apollo and, absolutely not to be missed, the Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular in Sicily. In the summer season, you can swim off the rocks or on some small beaches and solariums on the waterfront. Throughout the year it is possible to admire breathtaking views and sunsets.
A few meters away from the apartment you can find the electric minibus stop (one run every 30 minutes, from 8:00 to 20:00, price of one-way ticket: 1 euro), which allows you to reach some of the main points of interest of the city:
- Madonna delle Lacrime sanctuary
- Paolo Orsi museum
- Fonte Aretusa
- Maniace Castle
- The bus and train station.
The main towns of Sicily can be reached by Interbus coaches from the central station (via Rubino), from where the shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa airport also depart (approximately 1 hour journey).
- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service that connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where you can take the regional train to Syracuse station, in about 20 minutes on foot from the property.
Alternatively, from the airport it is possible to reach the apartment by taking Interbus bus, up to Syracuse Station.
PLEASE NOTE: Ortigia is located in the Traffic-Restricted Area -ZTL in Italian- (closing days and times depending on the season).
